BURGLARS have netted a haul of jewellery worth about $70,000 from a Floreat home.

“Given the amount of rummaging they spent a significant amount of time searching the house,” Senior Sergeant Paul Vojkovich said.

The raiders hit the Bourneville Street home between 4am and 7pm on Wednesday.

Their haul comprised jewellery worth $69,000 and an iPhone 7.

Jewellery included a tortoiseshell box, a $4000 purple amethyst pendant and a gold dragonfly brooch with pearls and diamonds worth about $6000.

Perth-based detectives are now investigating the thefts.
