Cambridge welcomes new citizens

PEOPLE from the Philippines, Spain, Sri Lanka, France and Qatar were among the new Australians welcomed to the Town of Cambridge this month.

Thirty-seven people were part of the citizenship ceremony on September 17, which coincided with Australian Citizenship Day.

Phil Walley-Stack performed a Welcome to Country followed by a performance by the Dutch Singers and address by Cambridge mayor Keri Shannon.

The Town’s newest Australian citizens hail from the UK, US, Philippines, France, Zimbabwe, Ireland, China, India, Qatar, Spain, Germany and Sri Lanka.
