Cat Haven’s Love Shack a little old place where you can get a cheap kitten

Jessica WarrinerWestern Suburbs Weekly

HEAD to the Cat Haven this weekend to find a furry feline friend in time for Valentine’s Day.

Cat Haven marketing officer Chandra Woodley said there were hundreds of cats and kittens at the shelter, with a perfect match for everyone.

“We’re transforming part of Cat Haven into a ‘Love Shack’ this Saturday for people to come down and find themselves a new companion,” Ms Woodley said.

“We’re filling a shed full of kittens so people can literally cover themselves in kittens for a gold coin donation, and hopefully adopt a kitten or a cat for Valentine’s.”

Adult cats at the Shenton Park shelter will be available for a special adoption fee of $14 from Saturday, February 10, through to Wednesday, February 14.

Kittens and teenagers are the usual price, but there are two for one packages on certain cats.

The Cat Haven is open all weekend and the kitten ‘Love Shack’ is open from 12pm to 2pm on Saturday.
