Celebrity Chef Guy Grossi Creates Polo in the Valley’s Menu

POLO in the Valley will have an Italian flavour to it with the addition of celebrity chef Guy Grossi creating the menu at this year’s event.

The “game of kings” held at Duncraig Stud on April 3 will feature Italian style drinks and food as part of the star-studded Maison Mumm Marquee.

Grossi said he was looking forward to creating a delicious menu in a relaxed format.

“I have created a menu for guests of the VIP Marquee that focuses on dishes which hero the wonderful produce of Australia,” he said.

“There are Italian flavours and a variety of dishes to be enjoyed throughout the day.

“The dining format encourages guests to socialise throughout the day while enjoying wonderful food.”

The VIP marquee menu will feature the Italian signature drink the Aperol Spritz and beautiful pasta dish designed around the Swan Valley region.

“I have a secret fascination with the region and enjoy the opportunity to cook for such wonderful celebrations,” he said.

“The pasta is a very simple dish but one that brings great enjoyment.

“The individual handmade parcels of sweet roasted pumpkin and parmesan are so flavoursome with the salty nut brown butter and sage.”Joining Grossi in the marquee will be Australian entertainment royalty Daryl Braithwaite who will entertain the crowd on the day.
