CHOCOLATE eggs won’t be the only treat for Perth motorists this Easter, with petrol prices set to fall after peaking today.
Prices should continue to fall until next Tuesday, when they will rise again.
Over the last quarter, Perth had an average fuel price of 134.1 cents per litre, with the North region slightly higher at 134.4cpl.
The suburbs with the cheapest fuel as of early this week were Southern River and South Lake, both at 130.7cpl.
According to comparethemarket.com.au’s Jenny Williams, motorists should be looking to fill up closer to Easter.
“We advise motorists in most major cities to hold off filling up until closer to Easter where possible,” she said.
“Despite prices easing across most capital cities in the lead-up to Easter, we urge motorists to always shop around for better deals.”
