Ruith Reid, Mary McCall and Sue Morey have committed themselves to community service for most of their lives in volunteering, library services and respiratory medicine nursing.

Mayor Max Hipkins said being named Freemen of the City was the highest honour the City could give to a community member.

“The awards to Ruth, Mary and Sue as Freemen of the City is recognition by the Council of their long standing service to the community, who have all played a significant role in the civic affairs of the City and the State of WA,” he said.
