THE City of Nedlands has created a plan that maps out a vision for the City over the next 10 years.
Nedlands 2028 is a strategic community plan that will outline how the City can continue to be an environmentally-sensitive and inclusive place.
The plan was developed in consultation with community members, key stakeholders, elected members and City staff.
City of Nedlands chief executive Greg Trevaskis said the long-term plan would consider community aspirations and changing circumstances.
“It’s a long-term plan where the City has considered its vision, values, aspirations and priorities while also considering the challenge of balancing community aspirations, service delivery levels, priorities and affordability,”
“An important aspect of this is ensuring local people are able to have a say with input into the decision-making process – and I am pleased by those who took the time to take part in our workshops and community engagement for our strategic community plan.
