City of Nedlands rangers find replica gun in Dalkeith

CITY of Nedlands rangers found a replica gun in a drain near the corner of Adelma and Minora Roads in Dalkeith this morning.

“It is not often that our staff come across potentially life-threatening and dangerous weapons and they have taken the matter seriously, followed the correct protocols in the interest of public safety and reported it to the police,” council chief executive Greg Trevaskis said.

Police attended, and it was found the gun was a replica left in the drain with a set of keys.

Officers took the gun and keys for examination.

Police have been contacted about whether the items are connected to any crimes.
