NEDLANDS rangers are the best in WA after winning the WA Rangers Association award for a second time last week.

“It’s the culmination of consistent high customer service standards and a strong work ethic in an often difficult role,” City of Nedlands health and compliance manager Andrew Melville said.

Chief executive Greg Trevaskis said the ranger team had adapted from just catching stray dogs.

Mr Trevaskis said they were now part of the community, and went beyond normal areas of responsibilities to help people.
