“The plan has been developed in consultation with the community to create an intense, exciting, liveable and sustainable town centre to meet the needs of a growing population, celebrating what makes Subiaco unique and embracing a bright future for our City,” he said.

“The City received generally positive feedback regarding important aspects of the plan including the vision statement, building heights and heritage provisions that were initially developed during the activity centre visioning process in 2013.

“This plan drives the framework that supports growth and chance, with a renewed focus on sustainable urban living, protection of Subiaco’s heritage, transport networks and the creation of innovative public spaces.”
