THE Christmas spirit will come alive at Claremont Quarter tomorrow.

Starting 5pm, Santa will kick off the Let’s Light Up Christmas event, which includes the annual lighting of the centre’s Christmas tree.

There will also be musical performances by North Cottesloe Primary School and Freshwater Bay Primary School students and a special jazz performance by Perth Jazz singer Cathrine Summers alongside her quartet at 6.15pm.

Shoppers can join in festive carols, relax in the pop-up bar, enjoy exclusive dinning offers in The Lane or get in early and secure a spot for a four-course Christmas dining experience at Academy Cafe.

They can also enter a giveaway to be in the running to win a $1000 gift card, which will be drawn on the night.

Festive celebrations at Claremont Quarter last year.

Hawaiian Shopping Centres general manager Scott Greenwood said the annual event brought the community together to celebrate the start of the festive season.

“As part of our Christmas celebrations this year, we will continue to focus on giving back to the community through Hawaiian’s Giving Box Appeal to support those who are facing tough times this festive season,” Mr Greenwood said.

“Our shoppers have always been very generous and we hope this year they will support our partners Foodbank and Variety WA through donations of food, toys and cash donations.”

Santa will be at the centre every day from 10am to 1pm from November 30 until Christmas Eve to discuss Christmas wishlists and for photos in exchange for a donation to Hawaiian’s Giving Box.

Gift wrapping will be available near the Mecca entrance from December 16 until Christmas Eve.
