LEWIS Incerti hasn’t been able to deliver the Western Suburbs Weekly in the Claremont area for the last couple of weeks.

But he has a good reason.

The Claremont resident has been on the Gold Coast to cheer on his older brother Zac at the Commonwealth Games.

The 50m backstroke bronze medallist had plenty of support in the stands, including his three brothers, aunty and uncle, nona and nono as well as his mum and dad.

Mum Christie said the medal presentation was definitely the highlight.

“We were all on pool deck and we got to hug him when he did the walk past with his medal,” she said.

“It was such a relief because at one stage we thought he might not be able to swim because he had a serious back injury.”
