Cobham Aviation plane to Barrow Island forced to turn back to Perth Airport after circling over northern suburbs

A COBHAM Aviation plane headed to Barrow Island with fly-in, fly-out workers has been forced to make an emergency landing at Perth Airport less than an hour after taking off.

The BAE-146 plane circled multiple times over Perth’s northern suburbs before returning to the airport at 6.44am.

Emergency services were called to the scene, however it is understood they were not needed.
