Community feedback wanted on Shenton Park’s Victoria House development

Victoria RificiWestern Suburbs Weekly

SHENTON Park community members will have their say on how the development of Victoria House, part of LandCorp’s Montario Quarter, will take shape.

Perth property developer Fini Group has launched a community survey to learn more about what residents would like to see at the Victoria House development.

The development will incorporate the restoration of heritage-listed Victoria House, with a mix of retail, hospitality and commercial offerings, and either one, two or three-bedroom homes.

The findings of the survey will help shape the building’s final design, with plans anticipated to be lodged for approval in April.

Fini Group’s development manager Jo Bennett said listening to what residents want would be fundamental in creating a development that has a strong sense of place and responds to the needs of the community.

“Victoria House is a new breed of medium-density development that will be designed with people in mind.

“Part of this process is engaging with both the existing community and potential new residents to develop a place where they can connect,” she said.

“We plan to maintain the site’s rich history and character with the restoration of Victoria House, while celebrating modern design with newly built residential homes.”
