Community News among finalists for 2019 WA Media Awards

COMMUNITY News has nabbed seven nominations in the 2019 WA Media Awards announced this morning.

The awards acknowledge the best work from journalists and media professionals across all forms of media throughout WA.

Editor Justin Bianchini, reporters Sarah Brookes and Laura Pond have taken up all three finalists slots for the Best Three Stories/Feature – Suburban.

Photographers David Baylis and Andrew Ritchie were announced as finalists in the Best Community/Regional Photography category.

It was also announced that sub-editors David Friedlos and Michael Palmer were two of the three finalists in the Headline Journalism category.
