Logan Farm is recalling 375g tubs of Talley’s Mussels due to the potential for microbial contamination.

The garlic mussels are cooked, shelled, marinated and marketed as ready to eat, but may cause illness if consumed.

The mussels were sold at Coles, IGA, Woolworths and independent stores across WA between July 12 and August 23.

“The recall is due to the potential for microbial contamination,” the recall notice states.

“Potentially contaminated food products may cause illness if consumed.

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.”
