The refurbished office space at 1 Leura Avenue puts the editorial and sales teams in the heart of the western suburbs, close to readers and clients.

Visitors can read current and old editions of the Western Suburbs Weekly on iPads in the reception area and pick up their weekly copies at the new office.

Editor Denise Cahill said the modern, industrial fit-out included spaces for readers to click through the paper online or flick through a hard copy in a cosy setting.

Cahill said the new location would take advantage of the high foot traffic in the retail and entertainment precinct.

“It’s important for us as a local paper to be part of the community. We’re looking forward to meeting our new neighbours and welcoming people to the new office.”

Sales manager Oliver Warr said there was a meeting space in reception where clients could liaise with members of the sales team.

“Our reps will be within a stone’s throw of existing and potential new clients,” he said.

“It will help the team forge stronger relationships with the western suburbs business community.”
