COTTESLOE’S Alison Jade is pitching in to support Aussie farmers.

Her salon, which also has an outpost in Prahran in Melbourne, is running a ‘Brows for Bales’ initiative, and will donate 10 per cent of profits from all of their brow makeovers for the remainder of August to drought-stricken farmers.

The cosmetics entrepreneur said she wanted to help where she could.

“People don’t realise how bad it’s gotten for families,” Ms Jade said.

“I saw on Facebook something along the lines of ‘what if this was happening in our own backyards’.”

She said people have been bringing their appointments forward to August to make sure they can donate.

There are also cash donation tins on the salon counters for anyone wanting to lend a hand.

Proceeds will go towards Buy A Bale.
