COTTESLOE councillors agreed on the draft deed of agreement with seniors care and support provider Shine at April’s meeting.

The deed outlines the role and funding for Shine, which is co-supported by the councils of Cottesloe, Claremont and Mosman Park and Shire of Peppermint Grove.

The current agreement with the councils ends on June 30, before which the remaining councils will also consider the draft.

Cottesloe’s share of Shine funding was $78,445 in 2016-17 but the service has yet to request its funding for 2017-18, which will be decided in pending budget discussions at each council.
