THE Cottesloe Longboard Club wrapped up another successful year of local competition with the crowning of its club champions for 2018.

In the open men’s division, Jarrah Calder was crowned high performance champion, while Evan Ledger was crowned old Mal and logger champion.

Competing throughout the year at Isolators surf break in Cottesloe, Jarrah and Evan surfed against quality competition to take the title at the club’s recent windup.

“It’s a real honour to accept this award,” Calder said.

“To have my name next to the previous winners is quite humbling, as they’re all great surfers.”

Ledger said he was happy with his end of year results.

“I’m stoked, to win two divisions this year amongst such strong surfers in the club is an awesome feeling,” he said.
