COTTESLOE Beach has reopened after a shark sighting caused it to be closed today at about 10am.
The beach was closed after the Westpac Lifesaving Helicopter spotted the shark near the beach, but it was reopened just after 12pm.

Scarborough and Trigg Beaches are also closed until 1pm today after separate sightings of two metre sharks.
The shark species is unknown at this stage.

According to Surf Life Saving WA, a member of the public has also reported a 3.5m shark off Garden Island.
