The month-long event launched last night at Mayfair Lane, featuring eight categories – The Breakfast Club, Let’s Do Lunch, Wine and Dine, Nightcaps, Sunday Funday, Collabs, Masterclasses and Staycation.

Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi said March was a time for the city to flourish, especially in the food and drink scene.

“Perth is alive with events and activities at this time of year and Eat Drink Perth is no exception,” Ms Scaffidi said.

“This annual festival is a celebration of Perth’s vibrancy, offering a slice of the latest hotspots and trends to refresh your palate.”

More than 100 venues are involved, with exotic creations, long table degustations, wine tasting sundowners, foodie walking tours featuring culinary trends and a calendar of exciting events and activations in play.

Visitors and city workers can explore lunchtime markets at Cathedral Square, family fun days and musical performances in the parks and laneways of East and West Perth or make use of picnic tables scattered across the city.
