Mr Johnson said active wear had become more practical and wearable so people could go from a coffee or a meeting to the gym.

"As trainers, we're able to live in that sort of gear all the time," he said.

Centre marketing manager Claire Ridley said the event would be a celebration of fashion, health, wellbeing and positive living.

"We're very pleased to be part of this year's Telstra Perth Fashion Festival line-up and invite all healthy living devotees to come join us for this event," Ms Ridley said.

"This is a fun and inspiring opportunity to take Karrinyup fashion into the outdoors and showcase the latest active wear ranges in an exciting new environment."

The event will start at 11am. Tickets at www.ticketek.com.au.
