Firebug Targets Cars in Western Suburbs

A SERIAL arsonist set alight at least three cars parked in western suburbs streets overnight on February 7 .

Senior Sergeant Julie Foley said fire that started near a rear right-hand wheel destroyed a Hyundai in Arthur Street, Shenton Park before damaging a VW Golf in the next car bay.

A fire damaged a 2002 BMW after it started near the vehicle’s rear right wheel on Heytesbury Avenue, Subiaco earlier that night.

A 2001 Holden Captiva 4WD was the arsonist’s second target when it was set alight near its rear right wheel in Austin Street, Shenton Park.
