LIFEGUARDS have closed Floreat beach after a shark was spotted offshore this afternoon.
Surf Life Saving WA tweeted the closure about 2.15pm and followed it up with confirmation that members of Scarboro Surf Life Saving Club had spotted a 4m shark of unknown species heading south from Scarborough Beach.
