TRAINING for the 2020 Olympic qualifiers while working as a dentist is a balancing act for Floreat resident and trampolinist Eva Kierath.

The 24-year-old has been trampolining for 10 years.

Eva commits to 20 hours of training almost every week at either Subiaco’s Peak Trampoline or the WA Institute of Sport.

Since winning gold in the World Age Group Championship in Birmingham in 2011, Eva has continued to reach new heights in her young sporting career, recently adding two World Cup silver medals to her list of achievements.

She will now work towards gaining selection in the Australian Olympic Trampolining team.

“When I was about 13 I decided trampolining was something I wanted to do and since then I’ve been working my way up,” she said.

Eva will head to Minsk in Belarus in three weeks where she will be the only WA trampolinist competing in the World Cup.

Peak Trampoline will open its doors on April 13 as part of the Lords Recreation Centre open day.
