SUBIACO Council will sell the former Wembley Tafe site via expressions of interest.
Councillors unanimously agreed on Tuesday night to offload the “underperforming” site.
Councillor Peter McAllister said the site at 133 Salvado Road in Jolimont had under performed or not performed at all.
Chief executive Rochelle Lavery said she could not disclose how much the site was worth but that council would ask for expressions of interest, which would include a sale price and development plans, soon.
“The money will go to the City’s Capital Investment Reserve to go towards capital works projects,” she said.
In 2016, the City determined that the site was underperforming and developed a Business Plan, which was endorsed in June, for selling the land.
