Mayor Mark Irwin said Sunset Veranda would welcome locals and visitors until February 16.

“This year’s program is our most diverse yet, offering something for all the family with a mix of free and ticketed events for all age groups and budgets,” he said.

Enjoy a laugh with solo shows by comedians Akmal Saleh, Steph Tisdell and hypnotist Matt Hale, or get your music fix at The Paul Simon Experience, Tell Mama: The Music of Etta James or The Music of Disney featuring Adam Hall and The Velvet Playboys.

There is a plethora of shows for children including the Monski Mouse Baby Disco and Leaping Lillies Circus, along with free story time, craft activities and Summer’s Last Stand concert ideal for teenagers.

Sunset Veranda is free to enter, with food trucks, open-air bar and live music making it the perfect place to relax by the sea.

It opens Thursday and Fridays from 5pm to 10pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 10pm.
