Gold mine employee charged with stealing

A PERTH man has been charged over the sale of high-grade gold to a pawn shop.

Police allege the 38-year-old was employed in the processing plant of a gold mine when he sold gold he had no lawful authority to possess.

He has been charged with two counts of fraud, one count of stealing as a servant and one count of attempted fraud.

He will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on December 11.
