Grove Library plans safe but ‘frightfully fun’ Halloween event

Giovanni TorreWestern Suburbs Weekly

GROVE Library is getting into the spirit of Halloween with a “frightfully fun afternoon” planned for next Monday, October 31 from 5pm.

The library will be the place to be for “spooky stories, ghostly games, marvellous magic, face painting with the Scary Fairies” and the special Grove Library Mysterious Maze.

Participants are encouraged to attend dressed to frighten, and prizes will be awarded for best costumes.

There is a special prize category for best homemade costume; a great opportunity to get creative.

A barbecue will provide refreshments for a gold coin donation, with proceeds to the Mosman Bay Sea Scouts.

The Town of Cottesloe, neighbouring councils and Neighbourhood Watch WA have teamed up again this year to support this fun and safe Halloween celebration.

Residents can collect their free ‘Halloween Hotspot’ pack from the Grove Library, which includes trick or treat safety tips and how to let little ghosts, and ghouls know they are welcome to visit on Halloween.
