Gun used in robbery at Captain Stirling Hotel in Nedlands

POLICE inquiries continue into an armed robbery at the Captain Stirling Hotel in Nedlands at 12.25am on Saturday.

Police said two men with covered faces and a firearm approached two members of staff who were standing outside after the Stirling Highway pub closed.

The staff members were threatened and ordered back inside the hotel.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the safe before the robbers left the area in a light-coloured vehicle.
