‘I don’t get it out as much as I’d like to because you have to be careful, but I use it a lot as a show car,’ Ms Doyle said.

She joined the Mustang Owners Club of WA 15 years ago, becoming one of 14 women with cars in the group.

The club will host its annual round-up and concours on Sunday, March 2, from 9am to 3pm at Wesley College oval, South Perth.

This year marks the Mustang’s 50th anniversary.

Entry is by gold coin donation and money raised will go to the SAS Resources Trust.
