BETHANIE volunteer of 20 years John Riordan (70) walks four days each week from his Subiaco home to help seniors at the charity’s aged care centre on Charles Street, West Perth.

“I do it for something to do and to give something back to the community,” Mr Riordan said.

His non-paid work is among that of about 600 volunteers at Bethanie’s centres across WA.
