Professor Emeritus Jenny Gregory will reveal everything about the history of Dalkeith and Nedlands in a talk at UWA.

THE history of Dalkeith and Nedlands will be at the heart of a talk given by University of WA Emeritus Professor Jenny Gregory later this month.

Professor Gregory, president of the History Council of WA and past president of the National Trust of WA, completed a doctorate on the making of middle-class suburbia 30 years ago, using Claremont, Nedlands and Dalkeith as case studies.

She will revisit her research to reveal how the area came to be as we now know it.

The talk will be held at the Nedlands Library on August 29 between 10.30am and 11.30am.

The event is free but bookings are essential.
