A SEA of green today descended on Cottesloe Beach as Methodist Ladies’ College Year 12 students celebrated their final days of school.
It was the 30th anniversary of the ritual where elated leavers jump into the surf fully dressed in their school uniforms.
The entire Year 12 cohort took part in the rite of passage but will have to return to school tomorrow for their last day of term, before spending the next week preparing for their written WACE exams.
