A Facebook post on the Justice for the Mickelbergs page announced the news, calling it “a great day for justice”.
“Today we have been told that the Legal Aid Commission has dropped its case against Ray and Peter,” the post said.
It added that anyone who had donated to the cause would be contacted for a full refund.
