Man alleged to have been hit with pole and car in argument in Mosman Park

IT is alleged a car and a metal pole were used to hit a Mosman Park man (26) in a lengthy argument in Gibbon Street, Mosman Park about 10.25pm on January 7.

“We will allege he was hit over the head with the pole and then run over by the offender in his car,” Senior Constable Mark Matthews said.

The man suffered a cut to his head and broken leg.

A confrontation on the street prompted several calls from neighbours and the public to police that day.

Constable Matthews said the man and his alleged attacker were known to each other.

The man was taken by St John Ambulance to hospital for treatment..

AYangebup man (47) is charged with unlawful wounding and dangerous driving causing harm.

He has been bailed to appear in court at a later date.
