Man charged over three-car fatal crash

A MAN has been charged over a fatal three-car crash in Wembley in the early hours on Tuesday morning.

A 63-year-old man died at the scene after his car was struck by a grey Holden Astra travelling west on Grantham Street at about 2.40am.

The silver Astra then hit a silver Subaru Outback which was also at the intersection of Harborne and Grantham streets.

WA Police confirmed a 32-year-old man from Wanneroo has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death.

He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court Tuesday, 30 July 2019.

Major Crash officers are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash cam footage to come forward.
