A MAN had his prescription medication stolen after leaving a Doubleview pharmacy.

The victim left Optimal Pharmacy on Scarborough Beach Road between 4pm and 4.30pm on Saturday after having his prescription filled.

A man appeared near the victim’s car and produced a small pocket knife, demanding the victim’s wallet and alprazolam (commonly sold under the brand Xanax) tablets.

The offender told him not to call police as he had his licence plate number and would find him.

Mirrabooka Detectives are trying to find the man, who was described as 175cm tall, of medium build, with dark skin, a black goatee, tattoos over his knuckles on both hands and was wearing grey trackpants and a grey hoodie.
