Man sold drugs from home, say police

‘It will be alleged that over recent months he has been selling drugs from his home,’ Senior- Constable Matt Donkin said.

Western Suburbs detectives and Cottesloe police raided a Wood Street home about 8am last Thursday, after information from the public about cars and people visiting the property where the man lived with his parents.

Const Donkin said police found a small amount of cannabis packed for sale before the man was charged with possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply, possessing a prohibited drug and drug paraphernalia.

He was bailed to appear at Perth Magistrates Court on October 3.

Searches of 63 other properties in 50 suburbs include two raids in Casuarina that uncovered five handguns including one with a silencer.

Allegedly stolen property worth more than $500,000 included earth moving machinery, a prime mover, off-road motorcycles, power tools and electronics, while a Two Rocks raid found a stolen car, missing motorcycles, ammunition and amphetamine.

The police found $64,000 in cash as well as drugs including 2.5kg of cannabis, 73.1g methylamphetamine, 2.4g of cocaine and 1.2g of heroin.
