Mass planting helps maintain dunes

‘It’s great to see such a variety of people obviously enjoying preserving and improving this beautiful area, and there are benefits to the community, health, infrastructure, biodiversity and aesthetics that flow directly from improving Mosman Beach,’ organiser Councillor Libby Eustance said. Jade and his grandmother put 58 plants in the coastal cliff where about 1200 other shrubs and sedges were planted to prevent erosion and provide bird and animal habitats. The Friends of Mosman Park Bushlands-backed work, supported by Mosman Park Council, was funded by a Coastwest grant.
