FORMER Fremantle Dockers captain Matthew Pavlich has joined zero2hero as a patron.

Pavlich will help share the not-for-profit organisation’s vision to create a world where every child and young person is educated and empowered to effectively deal with mental health issues.

zero2hero chief executive Ashlee Harrison said Pavlich’s time and support would bring greater awareness to the organisation and the work they did so they could reach and empower more young people.

Pavlich, a father of three, said mental health and well-being was critical to living a full and satisfied life and he had seen first-hand with family and friends how debilitating poor mental health could be.

“I am excited to be associated with zero2hero and their desire to educate our young people on this topic,” he said.
