A total amount of 71 apartments, including 13 one bedroom units, 40 two bedroom and 18 three bedroom will be built east and south of Hortus Way.

A total of 149 car parking bays, consisting of 129 residents’ bays and 20 visitors’ bays, will be located within a two-level basement carpark.

MJA Studio Architect representative Sarah Asher said stage one of the development was approved in November 2017 and could be viewed from Salvado Road.

“Stage Two has the same design approach as Stage One and opened up to the North with as much sun as possible, and connects to a public open space with a social interaction area,” she said.

Town of Cambridge Councillor Andres Timmermanis commended the development design labelling it “attractive”.

“The design is very attractive and applicant has gone to the effort to plan a good amenity apartment with good design and is more reflective of people wanting to live in high density apartments and I commend them very much,” he said.

“It’s a good enhancement of the area and a good asset of town and obtaining attractiveness and the future purchases of that area.”
