Mitsubishi Pajeros recalled over steering concerns

Staff WriterWestern Suburbs Weekly

MITSUBISHI has issued a recall of its 2017/18 model Pajero over concerns the steering and stability may not operate properly.

The company says that due to inadequate welding strength, the front right side suspension’s lower control arm may fail at one of the weld joints.

“If one of the lower control arm weld joints fails, the vehicle’s steering and stability may not operate properly, increasing the risk of an accident or injury to all road users,” the recall notice said.

The cars were available for sale between November 21 2016  and July 30 2019
