MORE than 300 items from Subiaco Oval will go under the hammer next Saturday.
The first lot of seats will be auctioned off including 322 timber benches from the two-tier stand, which were first constructed in 1981 and are some of the ground’s oldest seats.
Ross’s Auctions Dave Crofts said the seats would be converted into free-standing benches for people to purchase.

“I would say they would sell between the $200 to $400 range per seats and these are heavy duty seats and you wouldn’t ever have to replace them again.”
The auction will also feature 65 plastic seats, including home and opposition cheer squad seats, and the highest seats in the stadium from the back row of the three-tier stand.
Other items to be auctioned will include stadium signage, player interchange benches, and phones and headsets from the coaches boxes.
Expressions of interest will be taken for all remaining Subiaco Oval seats from December 10 at www.wafootball.com.au.
