Mystery surrounds man found unconscious and injured in Subiaco

PERTH detectives are seeking information around the circumstances in which a man was found unconscious and critically injured in a residential area in Subiaco on the weekend.

The 48-year-old was found about 6.45am on Sunday lying unconscious on the ground with critical head injuries at the intersection of Rupert Street and Hamersley Road.

He was taken to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital by ambulance.

Detectives want to speak to anyone who was in the area who saw the man, or dash-cam vision of the intersection between midnight and 6.45am on Sunday, August 26.
