Nedlands: police appeal for witnesses to scooter crash after elderly woman dies

AN elderly woman has died in hospital more than a month after falling off her scooter in Nedlands.

Police said the 98-year-old woman fell from her Gopher at the corner of Stirling Highway and Smyth Road about 4pm on Monday, 13 February.

She received serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.

The woman died in hospital last Wednesday from the injuries she received in the crash.

Major Crash officers are preparing a report for the Coroner and would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the incident or the woman driving her scooter prior to the incident.
