RACQUETS are at the ready for Nedlands Tennis Club’s upcoming tournament.

The Nedlands AMT & Junior Classic will offer many junior and sub-junior players a chance to participate in their very first Australian ranking points competition.

Connor Enslin (16) was previously selected for the state Pizzey Cup team, and said he is looking forward to the competition on his home court.

“It’s good playing at a club where you know the conditions,” he said.

The entry-level tournament will offer all players at least two singles matches, with adult players also encouraged to have a go against some up-and-coming talent.

The event takes place from January 11 to January 14.
