Mr Williams, of West Leederville, said experienced tour guides would take visitors through the heritage, history and environmental aspects of the island while riding a segway.

Guides were radio miked and participants wore headphones to learn about the island.

‘It’s a pristine location and there’s so much heritage and culture ,’ Mr Williams said.

The tours will last for an hour or 90 minutes.
