“It’s Argentinian street food and on the night there will be something different for everyone,” Mr Wong said.

Typika floor manager Justin Cameron said he would serve char siu pork buns, which had been really popular. “We picked these because they are the prettiest and they’re also pretty easy to eat,” Mr Cameron said.

The Lane Café owner Tiago De Souza said his café would serve a variety of baked sweet goods on the night.

“We’ve got apple and yoghurt muffins, raspberry friands, panna cotta and carrot cakes – and we’ve got gluten free,”he said.

Sydney 2000 Olympics closing ceremony singer Christine Anu is set to perform at a concert at 7pm.

Claremont Mayor Jock Barker said it was one of the most anticipated events organised by the Town.

He said it was a chance to indulge in some of the best food on offer in Bay View Terrace.
